OUR EXPERIENCE
While driving around the ring road, there are long sections where you look for a break from sitting in the car. We had stumbled across a listing for the Outdoor Trampoline on an Eastern stretch of road not far from Hofn. We turned off Rt 1, and towards the small town of Djúpivogur. It wasn’t immediately obvious, but we found the trampoline sitting next to the soccer field on the right side of the main road into town.
What a cool experience! The trampoline is thick rubber, and inflated. It was like jumping on a balloon anchored into the ground. It’s bouncy and safe for kids (and adults) of all ages.
After jumping and flipping, we got back into the car and drove through the town. Being a coastal town, we looked out onto the ocean, and then stopped at the small grocery store.
It’s well worth a stop at the outdoor trampoline. Being close to Rt 1, you won’t lose much travel time, and you’ll love 30 minutes of bouncing into the sky.
